Dolce Vita Crème Brûlée Recipe

Ingredients
  • 13 egg yolks or 480g
  • 2 quarts heavy crème
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Dolce Vita French Vanilla
Directions
  1. Begin by steeping Heavy cream, bringing to a boil and taking off the heat source.
  2. In a stainless-steel mixing bowl, place 9 egg yolks and whisks. Combine sugar and French vanilla. Mix until pale yellow and eggs begin to thicken.
  3. Temper egg mixture with hot cream, steady stream of cream and whisking continuously.
  4. Pour crème brûlée into ramekins and place in a hot water bath, cover with aluminum foil and place a hole at the corner of the pan so steam can escape. Bake at 350 for 30-45 min.
